Fall 2018

Dear sisters,

For me, this summer was steeped in Tri Delta, generating great memories! From spotting Poseidon (the Romans call him “Neptune”) and his Trident in four cities in Italy, meeting Tri Delta collegians in Flor-ence, Italy, representing our alumnae chapter at Tri Delta LEADDD and Convention in Texas, attend-ing my collegiate chapter’s 50th anniversary in Jacksonville, FL, and a visit with my Big Sister, it was a lot of time to focus on sisterhood and friendship – new friendships and old friend-ships. Our alumnae chapter is dedicated to friendship, kind-ness, and development. Each interaction requires time to create sisterhood through generous acts of initiating friendship, show-ing kindness, and sharing opportunities to lead and mentor others. Our time together is valuable. This fall, I hope you will invest your time in developing strong connections with Tri Del-ta sisters! Invite other sisters to join you! Our alumnae officers have planned ways we can work (and play) toward common goals. From our Tri Delta traditions, philanthropy support of St. Jude and MetroHealth, Delta Dates and Happy Hours, in-volvement with Panhellenic, book club dis-cussions, and other creative ways to offer individual support, we are making our Tri Delta bonds stronger.

I’m proud to be a Tri Delta! We are brave, bold, and kind. Tri Del-ta asks us to “Bring You!”

In the bonds,

Kathy Woolner
